just live

Hair, long, moves across her face,
As the wind sways back and forth.
Her stoic brown eyes looks over
And the words she breathes disguises
Her inner thoughts and anxieties.
Under the sun and over the sand,
She runs to the water to escape the heat.

Hair, long, stays and frays across her face,
As the water sways back and forth.
Her calm brown eyes looks over
And the words they speak unmasks
Their inner judgements and insecurities.
As the rain pours and floods the land,
Everyone runs inside for shelter and warmth.

happy friday everyone! felt inspired to write this poem. i think it can be read in a couple of ways. let me know what you think :) also changed up the look of this blog a little. i think it’s more fitting for the state of this blog nowadays.
