summer and time

summer and time

Sweet honey in lemon iced tea,
Intermingles in glass with cubed ice,
Melting and glistening in heat.

Smooth rocks of all sizes unmoved & still,
Under clear waters which sway in every which way.
Cool to the touch by swollen walking feet.

Gritty sand glitter love to stick to skin,
Exfoliating death away for renewal.
Polishing the foundation as new cells surface.
